Liberty Mutual Personal Insurance is actively seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst for the Personal Insurance Distribution Systems team. In this role you will primarily focus on supporting and enhancing the systems that are used by our internal and external sales representatives, as well as our public internet quoting systems. You will be responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle such as project scoping, requirements, test planning, testing, and implementation. You will be engaged in managing relationships with multiple external strategic partners. You will also facilitate meetings with both Business Stakeholders and IT development resources. You will triage, analyze and document business problems so that we can find ways to continuously improve our processes.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business sponsors to understand project scope and sponsor requirements.
Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive business requirements for operational, compliance and strategic project initiatives.
Apply analytical capabilities to research and make recommendations on business and systems issues.
Develop and execute detailed test strategies and test plans, including both manual and automated testing.
Coordinate meetings and facilitate discussions with strategic partners in order to contribute to strong working relationships.
Triage incoming production support issues impacting strategic partners, with keen attention to delighting the customer.
Assist with the coordination of upgrades and rollouts of projects across functional groups.
Facilitate and participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
May solve routine systems operational and support problems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 5-7 years related business analyst experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills, with great attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a desire to learn new tools and technologies.
Proficiency in business process modeling (e.g., As-is and To-be process flows).
Ability to identify, manage and make sound recommendations to peers and management.
Ability to perform effectively in the face of unfamiliar tasks and complex job responsibilities in a fast paced working environment.
Ability to effectively balance various tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting or competing priorities.
Prior experience with Mantis (defect management) and ALM (defect management/manual and automated testing) preferred but not required.
Prior experience with eCommerce / Internet technologies (including tablet and mobile) preferred.
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience working in an Agile and/or Waterfall methodology is preferred.
