Liberty Mutual IT Hosting Services is actively searching for a Principal Iinformation Security Analyst with a focus on LDAP/Siteminder. IT Hosting Services is a part of our Central IT Services organization that runs the infrastructure and foundational technology that is used across all business units and within Corporate Departments. In this role you will perform the administrative activities required to support a large and complex environment. You will act as a team lead and mentor, ensuring the team's success and growing the team's talent. You will perform software installations and upgrades, systems administration, operational support, and problem resolution for large systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the support, design, installation and configuration of a highly available Authentication and Authorization environment. This includes replication scheme''s to deliver 100% availability of LDAP and SiteMinder services across the Liberty Mutual enterprise.
Responsibilities:
Performs routine and preventative maintenance such as health checks, utilization
monitoring, and log file management
Performs system monitoring; analyzes and documents performance and conduct trend
analyses as required
Detects, isolates, documents, quickly reports, and resolves system outages or problems
ecountered during operations of the LDAP and SiteMinder operational system
baseline, which includes the collection of diagnostic data, restoring the system
operation, development of workarounds, identification and elimination of root cause
Collects data describing the environment at the time of the failure and documents
incident root cause & root cause elimination
Consults during plan, test and operationalization phases for environment changes
Has active involvement in related audits and remediation activities
Supports system engineering groups as required for ongoing analysis and integration
efforts
Works directly with the customer in most aspects of the day-to-day activities
Performs complex directory requests (bulk adds, changes, deletes) as requested by
Identity management team and provides directory content support
Provides second level troubleshooting for SiteMinder Policy creators and LDAP
provisioning groups
Instalsl, configures, tests, and deploys Siteminder 12.x, SunOne LDAP
11x software, hotfixes, and security fixes
Administers, Tunes, Maintains & Troubleshoots Siteminder, SunOne LDAP,
Identity Access Management Tools
Qualifications:
o Working knowledge of SunOne LDAP, Solaris, SiteMinder Policy Management,
SiteMinder Web Agent installation, Web Servers Apache, IIS, IIS with .NET framework, and
WebSphere
o Working knowledge of SSL encryption, key management and certificate management
o UNIX shell scripting
o Understanding of web server load balancing
o Knowledge of Information Security Identity Management and Role management policies and
procedures
o Excellent troubleshooting skills to address real-time production issues
o Excellent written and oral communication skills working with development, production and
applications teams for multiple lines of business
o Demonstrated ability to define and document operational procedures
o Ability to work independently and as a team member
Desired Skills:
Installation and use of SLAMD tool to execute performance testing
CA SiteMinder SharePoint Agent Administration Experience
CA IDM and CA Directory Administration Experience
Understanding of LDAP / SiteMinder / SAML network traffic patterns
Active Directory Administration Experience
PERL Scripting (DBI, ODBC)
Required
Experience:
o 5 years in security applications and systems
o 5 years of experience in supporting a mission critical 24x7 production environment in an
operations role
o 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing systems problems
o 3 years administration of multi-datacenter HA SunOne LDAP environment
o 3 years administration of multi-datacenter HA SiteMinder environment
o 3 years hands on Solaris / Unix administration or scripting experience
o Experience working in an environment with rigorous change management procedures
o 2 years design experience
