Liberty Mutual Insurance Information Technology is actively searching for an Information Security/Risk Analyst.
The third party risk management team is part of the enterprise information security group at Liberty Mutual and provides risk management oversight on third party service providers to all of Liberty Mutual.
As a third party risk assessor, your primary responsibility will be to execute third party risk assessments and to provide third party oversight to all Liberty Mutual business units. You will play a lead role in engaging business & IT areas that use third parties to assess the risk of engagements.
You will also be part of a world-class enterprise risk management team and participate in internal, enterprise risk assessments, as directed.

Requirements:
o Assists in the completion of complex technical security/risk assessments of third parties providing services to the company.
o Assists in the completion of complex technical security/risk assessments of internal projects and technology investments.
o Conduct onsite evaluations of information security, risk and operational controls.
o Communicates control weaknesses and related recommendations in non-technical terms effectively to internal management
o Keeps abreast of adversarial attack methods, regulatory requirements, and security requirements to understand their impact to the business operations.
o Identifies and negotiates schedules, milestones, and resources required to meet assessment objectives, and modifies schedules as required.
o Completes assessments within established time budgets and milestones without sacrificing quality.
o Performs additional duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
o Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a comparative field.
o At least 2 years of information systems auditing, risk management, security analysis and/or related work experience.
o Security, IT auditing and/or risk analysis (e.g. FAIR) certification a plus.
o Working knowledge of and experience with the Shared Assessments Program a plus.
o Knowledge of industry best practice standards pertaining to Information Security and data privacy.
o Knowledge of and experience with GRC tools a plus
o Understanding of International, Federal, State and Local Regulations pertaining to Information Security, risk management and data privacy.
o Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
