Liberty International IT (LIIT) is actively searching for a Principal Systems Administrator Liberty International comprises country operations in Asia, Europe, and Latin America, which provide personal and small commercial insurance products. Liberty International's Home Office IT team is comprised of IT professionals from a variety of disciplines - application management, infrastructure, architecture, and security. Our major objective is to ensure that our operations sustain competitive advantage in their respective markets through their efficient and effective management of technology. Home Office IT drives the achievement of a number of key goals for our operations including nimbleness, speed to market, security, and reliability.
In this role you will be primarily responsible for security and security controls. This is a hands-on position dealing with network and application firewalls, load balancers, virtual private networks (VPNs), two factor authentication (2FA), Proxy's, and logging and support systems. Responsible for the development, modification, and implementation of procedures and metrics for operations assurance of highly secure network services; this includes rigorous and disciplined operations management oversight of network and application perimeter security systems, network ingress and egress security services, directory applications, identity management applications, and server and user endpoint security systems. You will provide technical expertise, support, and analysis to clients, IT management, and staff while utilizing risk based methodologies. In addition, you will participate in the evaluation, development, and implementation of security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse system environments (e.g. company-wide, distributed, client server systems, and e-applications).
Responsibilities:
Day to day maintenance, support, and operation of network and application firewalls, load balancers, VPN's, Proxy's and logging systems
Level 3 support of security systems and systems
Protect Liberty Mutual information and technology to keep its business processes viable while minimizing disruptions through best practices and proper rigor of security operations
Implement security best practices into operations
Implement security solutions for internal business applications
End to end Implementation of new initiatives
Integration of security systems, tools, controls, processes and practices in an operational environment
Participate in multiple concurrent security operations
Work hand in hand with engineering to create a seamless workflow for adoption of innovative solutions for Liberty Mutual and its customers
Contribute to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Liberty Mutual information assets
Assist with yearly Enterprise-wide Assessment Process and bi-annual firewall rule and network device configuration reviews, prepare reports and provide findings for IT department and senior executives, assist in the documentation and tracking of corrective actions or remediation strategy
Assist in oversight and monitoring of IT security risk mitigation strategies; coordinate with other departments to help ensure Central IT, Market IT and business units are taking effective remediation steps
Review and conduct application-centric network and firewall risk assessments

Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a requirement for this role as candidate will support country operations in Columbia.
Bachelor's degree in Information Security or equivalent years of experience required; plus
Minimum three (3) years Risk Management experience required in an Information Technology environment or related discipline (Information Security, Business Continuity Management or Compliance).
Minimum three (3) years perimeter security experience with technologies such as firewalls, remote access management solutions, intrusion detection/prevention solutions, and network device management. Knowledge of Juniper branded solutions a plus.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification required; SANS and other InfoSec related certification a plus
Demonstrated experience with Risk Management and Security Architecture Reviews required; FAIR methodology experience preferable.
Knowledge and experience with common information security management frameworks and industry standards, such as International Standards Organization (ISO) 17799/27001 and the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (CobiT), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) frameworks
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
Superb communication, interpersonal skills and collaborative skills a must
Self-directed, self-starter, and motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
