2 FSEDs that are busy as wellAny oversite of FSEDs - 2 FSEDs - 1 is 20 mins away, 1 is 25 mins away.
Director oversees both and main ED.
Dover FSED is near University and busier during school season.
Seabrook FSED is extremely busy - lots of offloading from MassachusettsPhysician engagement:

Experience:
This will be a BIG focus for incoming Director.
Overall PEX for facility is very high but needs some work for those patients who are coming in through the ED.
Will need to press on candidates when screening on examples of how they have improved patient experience metrics in the ED.
Reporting Structure:
3 managers - 1 over each FSED, 1 over main ED# FTEs:
fully staffed 75 (all 3 locations)Reports to:

The manager for the main ED will cover that FSED until they get a new manager in place.
25 nurse openings between all 3 locations.
They have 15 StaRNs hired who will be starting at the end of the summer and trained up by October.

The role of the Director of the Emergency Services Department assures service, growth, development, personnel management, and resource allocation and management controls in order to ensure consistent high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
What you will do in this role:
o You will accurately identify real/potential problems affecting the service and implements solutions with follow through and communication o You will actively participate in service, departmental and hospital wide committees as assigned, providing ongoing communication to those one represents o You will advance the patient experience agenda in the Emergency Department o You will coach immediate subordinates providing feedback; constructive critique of work; facilitates individual development plan; and documents their job performance o You will adhere to all Human Resource policies.
