The child is highly curious, articulate, enjoys exploring new interests, loves playing sports and being outside.
They require eyes-on supervision at all times due to a lack of safety awareness.
The DSP will support the child in improving their safety awareness, self-regulation, and social skills both in the home and in the community.
Ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, and outgoing.
Experience working with children is preferred.
The family home is located along the COAST bus line.
Candidates should be willing to submit background checks; please allow a few weeks for background checks to process before the start date.
Rate is $25 for 12 hours per week.
Hours will be after school and/or weekends; scheduling is flexible.
Additional hours are available during summer and school breaks.
