Job Summary and Qualifications
The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.
What you will do in this role:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will care for patients who require a higher intensity of care than a medical surgical, including a higher level of cardiac care. The typical patient needs cardiac monitoring and administration of cardiac medication.
- You will provide assessment and care of cardiac and critically ill patients.
- In this role you will demonstrate your knowledge of cardiac telemetry monitoring to provide excellent care to the patient population.
- You will monitor, record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
- You will recognize and respond to changes in a patient's condition.
- Coordinating a patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team will also be part of your job.
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS or successful completion of ACLS within three months of hire.
