Job Description:

The Engineering Technician role supports engineering prototype, alpha, beta, pre-pilot, and pilot unit builds.

The technician will support design teams by helping to build, instrument, and test recirculating chillers, laboratory baths and other Temperature Control (TC) related equipment.

Brazing experience

Universal Refrigeration license

Experience with lab testing equipment and systems is a plus

Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, CAD skills (Solid works) are a plus

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:

Refrigeration system fabrication, troubleshooting, and testing.

Fluid system fabrication, troubleshooting and testing.

Electrical wiring and instrumentation of prototype refrigeration and fluid systems, building test fixtures, and conducting system and component level testing.

Work closely with engineering and production team members to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely execution of required prototyping, fabrication, and testing.

Troubleshooting at system, subsystem and component level.

Strong attention to detail on accuracy of data acquisition including setup and execution.

Electronic documentation of work completed.

Adherence to 5S standards and practices.

Perform all job duties in a safe manner and obey all safety policies and procedures.

Perform all job duties consistent with the Code of Ethics and 4-I Values.

Perform all job duties within ISO standards, regulatory or statutory requirements.

Participate in Continuous Improvement and support PPI projects

Other Job Requirements:

Person must have strong interpersonal skills to be demonstrate he can work well in a dynamic team work environment.

Strong knowledge base in HVAC/R.

Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and flow diagrams.

High level of self-discipline, drive, and a proven ability work well in a cross functional team environment.

Universal refrigeration license holder is required or show future plans for obtaining one.


Job Description:

Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Employee Relations assignments/projects.

Provides day-to-day support for employees and managers around employee relations issues and concerns.

Acts as a resource to HR and other service center specialists on employee relations issues. Areas of responsibility may include the development and implementation of approved organization-wide employee relations policies and practices. Conducts internal audits of employee relations issues to identify possible violations and makes recommendations of appropriate actions to resolve issues.

Works directly with managers to complete the business case and workforce analysis for job elimination plans. Consult with managers on fitness for duty issues, drug and alcohol issues, alternative work arrangements, etc. Conducts speak easy investigations that do not require on-site presence. Advises employees and managers on policy application and workplace issues.

Conducts grievance procedures and exit interviews. Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders. Focuses on providing thought leadership within Employee Relations but works on broader projects, which require an understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
