Job Description:
We develop and maintain our own complex software applications through an established and formal Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process.
A vital part of that SDLC process is a separate deployment team who are responsible for installing new versions of the application code into various controlled environments.
The Release Engineer is the person who carries out those deployments.
In addition to regular enhancements of existing applications, we have recently expanded its operations and is also going through a major integration project.
This necessitates a strengthening of the existing 4 person deployment team with an additional Release Engineer.
The Release Engineer will be expected to deploy Microsoft .Net applications and Microsoft SQL Server databases to a variety of Windows Servers. These can be either manual or automated through the use of PowerShell scripts.
In addition there are some Java/Tomcat/Websphere applications.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Windows Server Administration
Software Development
Microsoft Internet Information Server
Communication and team working with remote teams
DESIRED SKILLS:
PowerShell
Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft Team Foundation Server
Apache (Tomcat or Websphere)
Only GC and US Citizens are highly preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
