The Contract Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, interviewing and placing top talent within the our clients organization.
In particular, this role will be focused on a range of IT and Finance roles.
Primary Responsibilities
Source and evaluate candidates for presentation to hiring managers
Work as the liaison between candidates, hiring managers and human resources staff
Understand functional area hiring needs, position specifications, and parameters of search requirements
Build strong relationships with the various line and functional clients to ensure ability to influence, guide and drive the recruiting process
Participate in weekly update/strategy meetings with HR Generalists
Stay abreast of retail industry trends, development and changes
Proactively research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies
Maintain a strong network of contacts in your industry
Integrates strategic thinking and perspective with immediate recruitment needs, instills recruitment discipline
Perform to established metrics used to measure customer satisfaction
Work effectively with external search partners (when applicable)
QUALIFICATIONS
5-10 years of retail recruiting experience
Must demonstrate sourcing and negotiation skills and knowledge of employment law
Knowledge and experience in recruitment concepts, practice and procedures necessary
High level of energy, creativity, and independent thinking
Self-motivated and results driven with ability to communicate and influence effectively with client group and outside candidates
Ability to consistently deliver a high level of customer-focused service
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Flexible/adaptable in a fast paced environment
Strong team orientation and ability to build collaborative working relationships
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and applicant tracking systems
Length: 6 Month contract
$30-$40/hour

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
