Leddy Group is recruiting for a part time Payroll / HR / Accounting Assistant in Portsmouth. Position is responsible for day to day Human Resource and payroll functions in a small, fast-paced accounting department, which includes handling employee hiring & onboarding, employee relations, personnel file maintenance, evaluation and regulatory compliance.
Candidates should have prior experience with payroll, time and attendance systems and experience with accounting software. Candidates should have strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, advanced computer skills, and strong organizational skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
