Liberty Mutual Insurance Information Technology is actively searching for an experienced Principal Information Security Analyst. In this role you will be responsible for process design, coding, transitioning, and implementing Legacy IAM tools to newer toolsets like BladeLogic as well as the ongoing transition of IT Access to BladeLogic Roles and administration under the RBAC model.
You will provide technical expertise and support to clients, IT management, and staff in risk assessments, implementation, and operational aspects of appropriate information security procedures and products. You will work with business partners and administrators in use and implementation of tools and roles. You will be responsible for creating efficient, maintainable, defect-free code that meets business requirements and team standards.

Responsibilities:
Review the development, testing, and implementation of security plans, products, and control techniques. Consult with client and development area management and staff in the design and implementation for new or modified information security processes.
Execute reporting and governance oversight.
Perform access control and account administration of critical information resources and key users.
Work in conjunction with technical counterparts to remediate audit and security findings.
Participate in the evaluation of vendor proposals, conduct process analysis, review information security architectures and recommend modifications to the information security operation to reduce costs or improve service.
Track projects and reports status to appropriate management.
Develop communications and actively promote related campaigns for information security awareness among all staff.
Perform source code development.
Create unit test case development.
Develop test scripts.
Develop production support documentation.
Provide functional/system integration testing support.
Perform Quality Assurance coding review.
Recommend technical alternatives.
Conduct impact analysis.
Develop component design.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and typically 3-6 years of experience in the security aspects relating to multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
3 years' experience with Java, .Net, Ruby on Rails and Process Automation.
3 years' experience in advanced Unix operating system and scripting solutions.
Knowledge of application and BladeLogic architecture as well as strong analysis and process design for Identity and Access Management is a plus.
In-depth understanding of related IT Control effectiveness.
Competency in all phases of information security activities.
