Liberty Mutual Insurance Information Technology is actively searching for an experienced Systems Administrator. In this role you will perform the administrative activities required to support large, complex systems. You will perform hardware and software installation and upgrades, systems administration, operational support, and problem resolution for large systems.

Responsibilities:
Maintains the availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and security of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and 2013.
Installs major releases and patch updates on SharePoint platforms.
Supports SharePoint administration tools and third party applications (Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2010 and 2013, Microsoft Visual Studio, AvePoint DocAve suite).
Participates in product evaluation, systems testing, certification and product lifecycle management.
Performs optimization tuning and capacity planning for the SharePoint environment.
Provides on-call and off-hour systems support for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Maintains technical standards, procedures and techniques for the resolution of system problems to ensure maximum system availability and performance levels.
Proactive monitoring of all operations (Microsoft MOM 2005, System Center Operations Manager).
Develops and distributes communications regarding SharePoint best practices, processes, policies, and education.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and experience in systems operation and administration, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Knowledge of the operating environment including mainframe, midrange, desktop, server, network data, voice, messaging, web, database, and output/receiving.
Knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
General knowledge of business functions and business operations.
Knowledge of Windows Server, SQL, and Powershell.
Sharepoint experience is a plus.
