Leddy Group is seeking a maintenance mechanic supervisor in Portsmouth. Position will supervise the skilled hourly employees, in order to provide efficient and timely maintenance services to this division while maintaining safety and quality standards expected from the industry. Specific areas of responsibility include all mechanical/electrical services, primarily for the plant's processing equipment.
Qualified candidates for this position will have strong time management skills and provide leadership and coordination to all maintenance planning and implementation activities and ensure maximize production on this shift. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and solid foundation of skills in MS Office suite. The position involves office work, occasional hands-on work with the tools when short-handed, in cases of emergency, to train individuals, or for assistance in troubleshooting. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and other office related software applications is required.
This position requires a general knowledge of electrical wiring up to 480 volts for three phase systems, general mechanical background, basic knowledge of electrical circuitry for electric controls and printed circuits.
