Liberty Mutual' s Personal Insurance Financial Systems team is seeking a Business Systems Analyst I to support the enhancement of our financial services and systems. This Business Systems Analyst I role is responsible for supporting thesystems and processes that incent productive selling across thousands of Personal Insurance Sales Reps, Affinity Partners, and Independent Agents. Responsibilities includeresearch and analysis, business requirements definition and documentation, test execution and reporting, project implementation and systems training. Additional activities may also include root cause analysis, solution identification, and communication with project stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Assists in the evaluation of business requirements. Participates in and/or performs process analysis of customer activities and/or systems to identify alternative business solutions or process improvement opportunities. Assists in the development and maintenance of comprehensive documentation of business requirements.
Analyzes and documents business problems and recommends solutions.
Tests new system behaviors to ensure alignment with business requirements; contributes to the development of test plans.
Assists with upgrades and rollouts including specific duties related to training and monitoring performance.
Contributes to estimates for project plans. May analyze feasibility, cost ramifications, economies, or other aspects of planned or potential programs.
Depicts simple to moderately complex ideas and issues to limited audiences. May gather and document information on industry trends, business products and competitors.
Works with other departments to coordinate interdepartmental activities in order to ensure that Liberty meets customer expectations. Assists in problem resolution as needed to ensure that internal and external customers receive prompt, efficient service in accordance with company policies.
Oversees and/or performs system maintenance and identifies enhancement opportunities for existing systems and processes.
Assists in the preparation of user documents and training materials. May provide technical training and user support to business groups. Assists in the development of communication plans and related activities.
Qualifications:

Bachelor''s degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 1 year related experience.

Basic knowledge of business operations, objectives and strategies as well as business process and information flow.

Basic knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies.

Basic knowledge of diverse technologies and new and current architectures.

Negotiation skills; oral and written communication skills.

If based in Boston, MA there will be frequent travel to Portsmouth, NH required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
