Reporting Analyst
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Reporting Analyst to support the Reporting and Analysis Administrator in collecting and entering data for regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports, and to perform quality checks on the data received. The Reporting Analyst will work collaboratively with other areas of the company that provide reporting information and will escalate potential quality issues to the Reporting and Analysis Administrator when necessary.
Job Requirements
Requirements include:
High school diploma or equivalent required
2
years in an insurance operations environment
Experience handling data and related calculations, or quality assurance
Proficient in Microsoft Applications, particularly SharePoint and Excel. Experience creating lists, web parts and views, managing permissions, and other advanced SharePoint features preferable, along with experience converting text and CSV files, in addition to working with large amounts of data in Excel.
General knowledge of business and systems requirements process, and information security preferred.
Customer focused, flexible/resilient, exercises good judgment, effective communicator, results oriented, continuous learner, collaborative/team player.
Excellent attention to detail and follow through
Proven organizational skills, and ability to set priorities
Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
Highly analytic with proven ability to identify and articulate changing trends and risks demonstrated by data Must be able to effectively work independently.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal customers at all levels of the organization verbally and in writing in a collaborative manner.
Exhibit a clear understanding of the importance of time-sensitive deadlines, and be able to balance the need to meet these deadlines while also being sensitive to the workload of the individuals who provide report information.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
