Duties and
Responsibilities:
CACI has a, short-term, part-time opening for a Windows Systems Administrator working at a client-site in Portsmouth, NH. This role will be in support of an enclave, development network environment.
The systems administrator is responsible for a variety of Windows based operating systems (i.e., Windows Server 2008, Server 2003, Windows 7) on desktop and server equipment. Configure, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot computer systems, server hardware, operating systems, and peripheral equipment. Analyze equipment and software reliability and utilization to identify and correct problem areas and to ensure high system availability. Monitor and manage daily backups to ensure successful completion. Create and maintain scripts (i.e., logon scripts, etc.) designed to automate administrative tasks. Provide firewall and network configuration support as needed. Perform Retina and SCAP security scans and maintain compliance with DoD-issued Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs), DoD Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs), manage Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) etc. Perform other system administration duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Typically requires bachelor's degree in or equivalent experience and five to seven years of related systems administration experience.
Within last eight years, must possess five years of demonstrated experience in Windows systems administration
Strong organizational skills, analytical skills, customer service, problem solving ability, attention to detail, and verbal/written communication.
Confidential DoD Security Clearance (must be current)
Maintain or have the ability to obtain current DoD 8570 IAT2 certification requirements within three (3) months of position start. Required certs include:
Microsoft's Certified IT Professional (MCITP) in Windows Server 2008 or greater
CompTIA's Security+(CE)

Qualifications:
A technical professional that works well in a team environment
Former military experience or work experience with US Navy, Naval Shipyards, or other military installation
Experience working within the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI)
