Provides skilled technical support with minimal direction, which may include data coordination, data analysis, tracking and coding.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
The Record Retention Specialist is responsible for administration and monitoring of the Quality Record Retention Program in a temporary assignment with an anticipated duration of 6 months.
DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Creates and revises record retention procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, corporate policies, and sector procedures
Creates record retention plans and ensures that the plan is administered
Creates and maintains the Quality Record Index
Identifies, collects, indexes, and files quality records in hard copy and electronic formats
Ensures that minimum retention requirements are established and adhered to for each record type
Ensures that paper records are controlled and maintained with a unique file number.
Reviews quality records to ensure they are legible and retained in a manner that prevents damage
Reviews quality records to ensure that Good Documentation Practices are followed and follows up on any procedural violations
Audits records to ensure compliance with applicable procedural requirements
Utilizes a systematic approach for offsite record retention
Transfer of records from hard copy to electronic format to support electronic record retention.

Excellent problem solving ability.
Acute attention to details. Strong interpersonal, interdependent partnering skills, collaboration competencies; within and across organization.
