KBW has partnered with a growing manufacturer in their search for a Manager of Cost Accounting.
This is a pivotal role int the organization reporting to senior management.
Responsible for :
Providing manufactured costs for new and existing items
Calculating rework costs associated with products for multiple facilities
Analyzing material and ingredient usage on work orders based on standard bill of materials
Preparing quarterly and budget cost rolls for material, labor and overhead
Preparing data for weekly dashboard to track production efficiencies
Integrate acquired company costing process
Ad hoc report preparation and analysis
Developing standardized product cost request process
Managing a small team
Requirements:
You should have more than five years accounting experience the bulk of which should be in a manufacturing environment.
At least a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance and advanced certifications preferred.
Superior systems skills including a good working knowledge of MS Office and prior ERP exposure.
Previous experience developing a small team would be a strong positive.
