Commercial Lines Account Manager

The Commercial Lines Account Manager will join this large, established independent agency and support a book of property and casualty book of business heavily involved in sophisticated middle market accounts. Many of these are schools and higher education institutions, so while having that background would be helpful it's not necessary. It gives you the opportunity to specialize in a unique industry segment. The account management responsibilities are similar to any other commercial insurance book of business, however in this position you'll serve as a critical component of meeting the needs of educational institutions, universities and private secondary schools.

Responsibilities:
You'll assist producers and other account managers with marketing and servicing a large book of business.
You'll participate in all phases of the client management process, from renewal preparation and marketing to policy administration and claims.
Frequent involvement with clients- accountability for accuracy of policies, execution of agency service commitments and timely response to requests.
Commercial Lines Account Manager
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required; pursuit of continuing education and/or industry endorsements will be supported by the agency.
Active state insurance license.
At least three (3) years of property and casualty insurance experience. Broad proficiency with property and casualty coverage forms, endorsements and policies. Experience gained from working at another agency or in an underwriting role for a wholesale brokerage or insurance company will be considered.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
