KBW has partnered with a successful manufacturer in their search for a Plant Controller.
This is a key position in the financial leadership team with jurisdiction over a business unit of $100 million in revenue
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of all general accounting, cash flow, general ledger, cost accounting, and reporting.
Prepare period planning and forecasting with board level presentation.
Ensures compliance with company standards and US GAAP requirements.
Develop a business partnership with functional leaders across the site to assist decision making and drive accountability.
Develop and implement policies to improve work flow while adhering to Sarbanes Oxley practices.
?versee Cost Accounting to ensure accuracy of inventory valuation and manufacturing variance reporting.
Develop KPIs to assess operating metrics and review to achieve forecasted goals.
Assist with new product development, growth initiatives and cost reduction projects.
Develop, retain, manage and direct employees.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance is required; additionally, a MBA, M.A. in Finance, CPA or CMA is strongly preferred.
More than 8 years of relevant financial/accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership experience working within finance and accounting.
The use of accounting software applications, MPS/MRP systems and Microsoft Office suite.
PPI, Lean and or Six Sigma manufacturing exposure a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
