RESPONSIBILITIES
Chief Clinical Officer reports to the CEO and is integral part of Senior Administrative Team
Responsible for the planning, direction, supervising and conducting the day to day operations of 5 clinics including family medicine, medical, specialty, surgical and women's healthcare
Oversees 40 FTEs including nurses, office staff and patient educator
Provides administrative leadership and direction to 25 physicians, 14 employed and 11 specialty doctors
Responsible for facilitating the ongoing development and management of the Wound and Ostomy Program, Chronic Disease and the Wellness Center
Develop, implement and supervise new clinical service programs to enhance or embellish current activities and to address the identified needs of the community, the medical staff, and/or the hospital.
Establish, enhance and maintain an effective and congenial working relationship with the medical staff, their representative office staff, hospital administration and the health care staff in all hospital departments.
Provide education and training opportunities to staff members to ensure professional development and their ability to provide quality patient care.
Develop, implement and maintain the annual operating budgets for the clinical services programs and ensure that operations are managed within the established guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration or business administration, or related field (Master Degree preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of physician practice management experience
Experience in strategic planning, board relations, financial management, capital and operating budgets.
Knowledge of clinical workflow and LEAN principles
COMPENSATION
Excellent base salary
