Test assemblies are made up of 3/8 plate 4 by 6 with 22 1/2 degree bevel on both.
A 2 by 8 by 1/4 flat bar used for backing strap.
Test assemblies are fit up with maximum root gap of 7/16.
3 test plate assemblies, fit up and orientation verified by QED QA Level 3 examiner.
Root pass welded and visual by QED QA Level 3 examiner.
Each plate has to be welded with 11018M 1/8 or 3/32 filler material.
After welds are complete QED QA Level 3 examiner does final visual.
Experience Required:
- 3 years experience, 2 years working Naval vessels
- Secret Clearance is required
Duration: 8/24/2015 through 12/24/2015Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
